Honeycomb was thrilled to team up with Argentine streetwear company Puro to co-produce the first in a series of 48 hour artist residencies that are set in public spaces. For the first installment, we invited long time collaborator and Honeycomb artist Martin Lapalma to transform the boutique storefront into a working studio where he painted live during the two days, producing original pieces inspired by textiles from Puros' latest collection. The project gave the public a unique opportunity to observe the way an artist creates and encouraged the interaction between creator and audience. In November 2015 the artwork from the residency will be released as a very limited edition of boxed giclee prints.
